It is A Matter of the Heart!

People today do not look within their own heart! They believe that if they do the right thing or that God knows my heart then they are alright. There is a need for a person to look within their own heart by which to examine it based upon the Word of God. God's Word is like a mirror by which it reveal the ugliness and intent of the heart. (Jer. 17:9) It is impossible for a person to see themselves without looking within their own heart. It is so easy to point the finger at everybody else without first looking within their own heart. Our heart can so easily be led astray because of the sinfulness of our heart. The nature and character of the heart is that it is deceitful above all things and desperately wicked. (Jer. 17:9) In order to examine our heart is to give a graphic analysis of the heart of sinful humanity. When Adam sinned we all died in Adam. That the core of our being was corrupted by sin. (Rom. 5:12) Because of the enormous impact of the sinfulness of humanity's sin th...

Personality Profile of Faith Leaders: Questions of Dicsussion

Why is there a need to address the personality of Faith leaders? There are some within the Faith movement who are not well mentally. They are charismatic leaders who appear to be normal but they are abnormal. Such personality can range from passive aggressive personality to aggressive personality. It depends upon the degree of such chronic illness. Also, it appears to be healthy, but are "unhealthy." Some of these people can be so polish on the outside, but damage on the inside. They can say all the right things even to the point of being persuasive they can convince their followers of narrative and outright lies. (2 Cor. 11:3) Throughout this article I will begin to ask a series of questions that will shed light concerning the DNA Personality of Faith Leaders in chapter 10 of my book, "The Prosperity Gospel: Where Did It Come From?" These will be a Questions of Discussion. I would encourage many of my readers who have already purchased my book as well as those wil...

The Sins of the People

During my sermon today, I preached entitled, "The Sins of the People" according to Amos 1:9-10 where it stated: "This is what the LORD says: "For three sins of Tyre even for four, I will not turn back my wrath. Because he sold whole communities of captive to Edom, disregarding a treaty of brotherhood, "I will send fire upon the walls of Tyre that will consume her fortresses."  The main idea of my message: "To disregard the value of people by selling them into slavery." (Am. 1:9) In the introduction of my sermon I begin by sharing with my parishioners and social media followers that you treat people as props by which to make profit is unjust. There are large corporations and CEO of companies pay their employees lesser pay while at the same time profit from their hard work. It is amazing that many of these CEO of large corporations and companies receive large bonus at the end of the year while many of their employees are struggling trying to pay hi...

What are the Essentials of the Christian Faith?

Introduction: There is a list of essential Christian doctrines that are non-negotiable by which it is the foundational to the faith and life of the church today. The church must never sacrifice biblical faith in place what will be acceptable in those who are professing believers. Many professing Christian leaders will contend that the church was not "divide" over doctrine, but to demonstrate "mere" love for the sake of unity. Whenever the church sacrifice the faith of the church for the sake of unity it "divides" people than to give them a robust understanding of the foundations of the Christian faith. Our understanding of essential Christian theology strengthen believers by which to share their faith with others. We are called to give people biblical answers to their Bible questions simply because of the fact that they wants to know with all that is going on in the world today: that of racial strife and social disparities. (1 Pet. 3:15) Foundations of the...

What's Truly is the Gospel?

There is a need to know what the gospel is! The gospel must be clearly defined according God's Word. The problem is that there is so much diversity and variations pertaining to the gospel by which it will be difficult for the average person to understand what it truly is the gospel message. Unfortunely, there are many professing churches and church leadership who have denied people of the opportunity of embracing Christ and the gospel: that of its understanding what the gospel entails and how it is to be applied to everyday life of those who are lost. (2 Cor. 4:3-4)    A basic understanding of the gospel is that of the "good news" of Jesus Christ by which He was crucified, buried, and resurrection by the glory of God. (Rom. 1:16; 1 Cor. 15) It is important to explain clearly point-by-point what is Christ's death, burial, resurrection, and ascension. There are those who will seek to "spiritualize" the essentials of the gospel message in terms of Christ for e...

The "Coded" Language of the Prosperity Gospel

There are "coded" languages that are communicated with those who are within the world of the health and wealth gospels known as the prosperity faith movement! First, we would think that by the prosperity faith movement being exposed by those who critical of this particular outside of the Word of Faith movement that it would have settled the case. Even though there are books that are critical of the "health and wealth" gospel for example the Health, Wealth & Happiness authors David W. Jones and Russell S. Woodbridge address the historical, biblical, and its theological analysis. But, yet, the "coded" language of this particular movement have not been addressed. (2 Cor. 11:3)  In order to reach those who are entrap within this particular movement known as the "health and wealth" that comes in the form as the Word of Faith is to break into its "coded" language. The only people who can understand such "coded" language is that...

The Insurrection of the Heath and Wealth Gospels within the Church Today!

Just on today I heard on a local radio station here in Atlanta that the Host interviewed a guest on its program. It was the particular guest promotion of her book promoting but utilize such memorable statement "It is your health the promotes wealth." I thought about it for a moment by which the guest distorted the biblical text of 3 John 2. She's going further to talk about spiritual laws, principles by which she encourages her listening audience to follow. In so many words in order for people to be prosperous or to be "healthy" is to follow such principles and spiritual laws. What immediately came to my memory in how many Faith televangelists will contend that God is subject to the laws of the spiritual by which to create the universe. In turn many Faith Christians must utilize the same spiritual laws by which to create the world of their own desires. Also, in so many words what you say is what you create. You must speak such faith-filled words in order to cre...

What is the A, B, C's of the Gospel?

There is a misunderstanding of the gospel message! There is in no way that the gospel message is equated with the law or that of the law and the gospel. The law reveals to who we are in light of our own self-righteousness: that we are not able to live up to the standards of the law. The purpose of the law is to reveal the sinfulness of the hearts of people. The law is our schoolmaster by which it leads the self-righteous person to Christ, but that the law cannot save. We are justified by trusting in Christ for our salvation. As if things doesn't get any worse is that many legalists within the professing church will convince believers that even though they are saved there are steps by which maintain that of our salvation by keeping man-made rules and regulations. (Gal. 3:1) It goes to say that we can live perfectly by the law by the Spirit's indwelling. Moral perfectionism, moral plank, sanctimoniousness, and sacreligious are apostate doctrines by which it is taught by demons. ...

Preface: Guarding the Truth of the Gospel

The church's responsibility is to guard the truth! In turn God have also entrusted the elders who are undershepherds in preserving the message of the gospel. The reason for such is that there is an array of false teachings that are circulating throughout the church today by which contemporary evangelicals have in fact followed suit. Paul to Timothy says that there are going to be people who are not going to put up with sound doctrine but they will be selectice of false teachers who are going to tell them what their itching ears wants to hear. As a result of not desiring to hear solid biblical truth that they will turn away from it be giving heed to falsehood. (2 Tim. 4:3-4) It is unfortunate that many pastors who because of pressure cave into telling people what they want to hear; not what they need to hear. Whenever churches especially church leaders are committed to teaching the truth of God's Word will in fact anticipate persecution and sufferings.  When it comes to guardi...

How Gnosticism Misread the Bible

Just imagine when you were in school and you were taught to read your alphabets from A-Z. You know that is the way by which you read the alphabet. This is not so when it comes to the system of Gnosticism reading of the text of scripture. There are two crucial areas by which many Gnostics within the professing church: that of "misreading" the context of the Bible to contextualize the meaning of the text and the "reframing" of the characters of the Bible through such allegorical interpretation. (2 Tim. 2:16, 17-18) Whenever there is a perversion of biblical truth it will have such disastrous effect by which to greatly impact the way many Gnostics view God and the world at large. The theistic God of creation is viewed as a inferior Being; the world in and of itself is viewed as as cosmic "mess" by which the "spirit" longs to be freed from its incarceration. It is the "spirit" by which it is imprisoned. Many Gnostics are encouraged to abst...

The Art of Soulwinning (Part 1)

Text: Prov. 11:30; Ge. 2:9; Prov. 10:1  "The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life, [Ge. 2:9; Pr. 10:11] and he who wins souls is wise." "And the LORD God made all kinds of trees grow out of the ground--trees [Ezek. 31:8] that were pleasing to the eye and good for food. In the middle of the gardens were the tree of life [Ge. 3:22, 24; Pr. 3:18; 11:30; Rev. 2:7] and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. [Ezek. 47:12] "The mouth of the righteous is a fountain of life, [Pr. 10:27; Pr. 3:18; Pr. 4:23; 11:30; 13:12, 14, 19; 14:27; 15:4; 16:22] but violence overwhelms the mouth of the wicked. [Pr. 10:6] Sermon Outline I. An Examination of the Fruit of the Righteous (Pr. 11:30)   A. The character of God's people (v. 30)      1. They possess the gift of salvation in Christ by which it is the fruit of the righteous. (v. 30)        a) Jn. 3:36.        b) Jn. 10:28-29.      2. Bearing fruit by which to h...

Why is it Necessary to Contend for the Faith?

There is an urgency by which we as God's people must contend for the faith! There are spiritual charaltans that are on social media who hold "Contending for the Faith Conferences" by which they appear to defend the faith of the gospel but hide behind the cloak of the Bible to perpetuate such Afrocentric Christianity. They place so much emphasis upon race, culture, and ideology that it explicitly deny that of the core of the gospel message. (Rom. 1:16) There are other facets by which the gospel of Jesus Christ have also been denied as well: that of the law and the gospel by which it is mutually exclusive. How is it possible for people who are saved by the grace of God through faith in Jesus Christ can possibly live by the law in order to demonstrate perfect obedience to Christ? When it comes to legalism it is all about performance and how well people are able to perform. If a person cannot live up to the standards of rules and regulations of such a legalistic system eithe...

The Characteristics of False Teachers

There is  a need to know the character of many false teachers today who appears to be concern about the spiritual well-being of the church today, but they are wolves in sheep's clothing. Perhaps you may be saying, "How can you know whether a person is fake and phony?" Who give you the authority to just a person? Or There is a lot of hypocrites in the church and that's why I do not attend church. These are many questions that people have about the church especially leaders within the church today. Even though many of the accusation that people have towards the church are most of the time true and that there are religious phonies in the church today by which there is a need to spot out these individuals poses the greatest challenge and threat inside its walls. Such individuals are able to articulate what the church believe and to imitate the life of a Christian but they are sinners in saint's clothing. The condition of false spiritual leaders according to Isaiah 56:...

The Truth about Tithes and Offerings: The Unfaithfulness of God's People (Part 1)

Text: Malachi 2:10-12 Have we not all one Father? Has not one God created us? Why do we deal treacherously with one another By profaning the covenant of the fathers? (v. 10) Judah has deal treacherously, And an abomination has been committed in Israel and in Jerusalem, For Judah has profaned The LORD's holy institution which He loves: He has married the daughter of a foreign god. (v. 11) May the LORD cut off from the tents of Jacob The man who does this, being awake and await, Yet who brings an offering to the LORD of hosts! (v. 12) Why is it that people mistreat one another? Is God's Sovereign over creation? Did the Lord created us in His image and likeness?  What was the covenant by which the people of Israel defile? In this particular article I will begin to address by answering many of these most important questions. First, it is so important to understand the context of the passage/s of scripture within its proper context. Comparing scripture with scripture is proof posi...

The Need to Test the Spirits (Part 2)

There is a spirit that pushes false prophets to say what they say! They will say things that would be in agreement to the average Christian simply because of  the fact they mentioned the name of God, Jesus, salvation, and the Holy Spirit. It is at minute 15 that will confuse and riddle the minds of average Christians by the mere fact they was in shock and disbelief to hear their favorite pastor or Faith televangelists teach what they believe about God. That is because of the fact that people are made in the image and likeness of God is that men are little "gods" by which they utilize John 10:38 in support of their viewpoint. People are not little "gods" simply because of the fact that they are created by God. How is it that "mere" human beings are "gods" when they do not possess infinitude of Who God is. God is unlimitive in His knowledge; people are "limitive" in their knowledge of God. God is perfect; people are imperfect. They do not...

The Need to Test the Spirits (Part 1)

In 1 John the apostle John says, "Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world." The first part of 1 John 4:1 where it said: "Beloved or dearly beloved "do not believe every spirit..., It is very important to know that there are false prophets who claim that they believe the Bible by which they utilize at will the language of the Bible as if they are in agreement with God's Word. (2 Cor. 11:3)  In order to test such indiviuals is to asked the question (?): "Where do you stand on the authority and inspiration of the Bible? They will reply by saying, "The Bible contain the Word of God; the Bible is not the Word of God." It is true that many liberal theologians will explicity deny the absolute authority of the Bible as if the Bible contain God's Word but is not the authoritative Word of God. (2 Tim. 3:16) Paul in his letter to Timothy says, ...

How Legalism Hijack the Church

Text: Matthew 23:4 (NIV) "They tie up heavy loads and put them upon men's shoulders, but they themselves are not willing to lift a finger to move them." "Jesus replied, "Are you expects in the law, woe to you, because you load people down with burdens they can hardly carry, and you yourselves will not lift one finger to help them." (Luk. 11:46) Introduction: In order to understand Matthew 23:4 is that as students of the Bible we must compare scripture with scripture. (1 Cor. 2:14)  It is true that there are some biblical passages of the Bible that are difficult to understand but there are other biblical passages that will shed light upon such obscure passages. For example: The main passage of scripture that is under study is Matthew 23:4 but for example Luke 11:46 is a comparsion where it says, "Jesus replied, "And you experts in the law, woe to you, because you load people with burdens they can hardly carry, and you yourselves will not lift one...
