INTRODUCTION TO BIBLE INTERPRETATION (PART I)

It is so important that we are properly taught God's Word, especially when it comes to interpreting the Bible. The reason for such is that there are those who are leadership that are poor biblical scholars, poor Bible readers, and poor interpreters of scripture. For example when it comes to the basis of biblical interpretation is that instead of the speaker seeking to understand the plain meaning of the context of scripture is that many of the portions of the Bible have been interpreted spiritually: that of the resurrection of Christ have been interpreted as to the "appearance" of Christ being risen, thus deny Jesus Christ glorified physical body as being resurrected from the dead (2 Tim. 2:16, 17). The apostle Paul declares that if Christ be not risen our faith is in vain, yet we are still in our sins (1 Cor. 15:1-4).  In order for the Church to experience to anticipate the resurrected hope of believers appearing before God's presence is to have the confidence and ...

CHARISMATICS "INCESSATIONIST" VIEW OF THE BIBLE: THE INCOMPLETENESS OF SCRIPTURE

The Bible is "incomplete" without the revelation knowledge of many charismatic leadership today.  Even though they claim the "backing" of the Bible; it is only said in principle, but not in practice.  The Bible according to charismatic theology is that the Revelation Knowledge of its own leadership is to shed light upon the Bible; not the Bible in light of charismatic erroneous understanding of the "canon," or rule of scripture.  There is no difference between that of the Charismatic movement doctrine of the revelation of the Bible and that of Mormonism understanding of the "revelation" of scripture (2 Pet. 1:20).  Therefore both Charismatics and Mormonism understanding of the Bible is a "continual" revelation of scripture as to be incomplete.  In so many words the Bible is an open-end Book whereby it is necessary for "further" revelations to shed light upon the character and nature of scripture.  Also, both Charismatics and...

THE PSYCHOLOGICAL TACTICS OF BLACK CULTS AND SECTS

There are Black sects among us, especially within many of African American churches and its own community.  For example the controversial movement of The Full Gospel Baptist Church Fellowship International claim to restore that of primitive biblical Christianity: that of the gifts of the Spirit, speaking in tongues, and the "five-fold" ministry gifts, but, what makes this particular "sect" questionable is the foundation from which it is built (1 Tim. 6:20).  The movement in and of itself have "borrowed" heavily from different religious traditions and that of its philosophical ideology:  that of Baptist, Charismatic, Pentecostalism, and the Word-Faith movement.  Also, the philosophical ideology of "Full Gospel" Baptist is from an Gnostic source which is embedded with such "syncretism" of Hellenistic and Greek mythology.  In so many words when it comes to interpreting the biblical text of scripture is through such "allegory," ...

ENEMIES OF THE TRUE FAITH (PART I)

The church have in fact become spiritually "indifferent" towards those things pertaining to the faith and life of the Church today.  In so many words to keep from rocking the boat that both the Church, that of its leadership, and its members have in fact remain to be silent.  It is business as usual.  There are also Christian telecast across America accuse "apologists" of being unloving as to sow disunity among the brethren, that there is any redemption for them, but on their way to hell.  As the attacks continue is that  Faith televangelist Benny Hinn have made threats towards discernment ministries as to say, "If I had a Holy Ghost machine gun, I'll blow your head off." As if the threats does not continue to attack Christian apologetics organization (CRI), the Late Paul Crouch of TBN stated: "If God do not shoot you; than I will."    It is apparent that no one like a wise guy.  Who are we to sit in judgment on others? Let God sort out ...

THE MARKS OF A RELIGIOUS PHONY

Paul in his farewell letter to the Ephesian elders warn of false spiritual leaders that will be among there own ranks (Acts 29:29-30).  One of the most subtle, but diabolical attacks of Satan is to disguise his ministers as ministers of righteousness (1 Cor. 11:13-17).  Apostate spiritual leadership are seeds by which Satan have sowed within the Church as to cause dissension and disruption in teaching doctrines that contrary to the clear teaching of scripture, and the doctrine according to godliness: that of myths and endless genealogies (1 Tim. 1:3-11).   Comparing Themselves Among Themselves Religious phonies in the church today boast of their own credentials: comparing themselves among themselves to their "elevated" knowledge of scripture (2 Pet. 1:20). In so many words they claim to have a "corner" on the truth as if they are the only one's whom God reveal some "spiritual" truth or "newer" revelations that is beyond the mere wor...

PAGAN SPIRITUALITY: THE WORSHIP OF THE CONTEMPORARY CHURCH

There is a paradigm shift that is occurring within that of the Church today: that of its transitioning of traditional worship into contemporary worship service. What is meant by contemporary worship is the attempt to usurp the true worship of God as to the worship of Self: that of its brazen form of New Age Spirituality (Col. 2:23; 2 Tim. 3:5). The philosophical presupposition of the New Age movement is that of monism: "All is God; God is all." The manifesto of the doctrine of monism: that of created beings or individuals who are created in the image and likeness of God can create a "god" of their own cravings: that of the worshipping the creature more than the Creator (Rom. 1:23, 25). For example: It is evident of the prosperity-faith movement that create the "god" of its appetite for the sole purpose of "decreeing and commanding" at the beck and call of the Faith believer (Mk. 11:23-24; Heb. 11:2). Also along with the Faith teaching on the ...

THE LEGACY OF THE PROSPERITY GOSPEL

During the early 80's when the prosperity-faith movement came into existence, "God Wills the Prosperity of His People" have a mixture of biblical truth and pop-psychology. The above statement mentioned is that of its cultural bias, innuendos, and preconceived notions that is buried beneath the message of many prosperity teachers who for over three decades promote such false gospel (Gal. 1:8-9) Even though historically the legacy of the prosperity gospel is hedonistic and utilitarian in nature: that of a pleasure seeking religion to avoid the pain and suffering in pursuit of happiness (2 Tim. 3:2 ESV). The main emphasis of the legacy of the prosperity gospel is what is monetary; not what is ethical. People today will go to great length regardless of the cost involved to accumulate financial wealth and prosperity. Whatever the cost may be that many are paying a dear price for whether it is through fraud and deception (2 Tim. 3:13). Hard work produce good wages, but fo...
