The typical statement of many Faith leaders as to say, "All that the believer need is in God's heavenly storehouse! That is the proverbial statement that is made by many Faith televangelist within the evangelical church today.  The most controversial of African American Word of Faith televangelist is "Dr." Creflo Dollar, founder and pastor of World Changers Church International located in College Park, Georgia outside of Atlanta carelessly quote the words of Jesus Christ by saying, "In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. In order to understand any given passage of scripture is to look at both previous and preceding verse. The best interpretation is the Bible itself (1 Cor. 2:13).  Also it is important that we understand the history, culture, and theological meanings of the biblical text of scripture. It is unfortunate that there are individuals within the church especially its own leadership has in fact stop short of the historical context of scripture so as to make such present-day application.  As we begin to study the context of 1 Kings 19:12 we must first of all read previous and preceding verses in order to understand the whole of its message. When it comes to checks and balances that many Faith televangelist are without accountability when it comes to what they teach and how they governs the church today. Many of the teachings that has been perpetuated by many Faith leaders claim that what they teach are "anointed" by God but they deny that of the absolute authority and inspiration of the Bible (2 Pet. 1:19-21).  Whenever the leadership of Faith televangelist "substitute" God's Word for what is revelatory that is outside the boundaries of scripture affect other areas of doctrine and theology.  A tree is known by the fruit it bears. We cannot expect apples to bear oranges nor oranges apples.  The problem with the teachings of the prosperity-faith message is that it is "inconsistent" with the clear teachings of scripture (2 Tim. 6:3-5).  The message by which many proponents of the prosperity theology represent a heretical view of the gospel by which it does not reflect that of the character...

Even though the control of human communication is very much evident among many Faith leaders as to what how many of their members are taught to avoid various books and literature is indication of control and security. Many Faith leaders will say and do what it takes to silence the mouths of its critics that challenge their teaching and authority. Many Faith leader will utilize such "scare" tactics by quoting Psalms 105:15 where it says, "Touch not mine anointed and do my prophets no harm." Many within the Word-Faith camp cautions those who are apart of their churches and ministries that to question that of its own leadership and to challenge their "authority" is to question GOD.  There is nothing warranted in Psalms 105:15 that even says nor suggest that to ask the leadership of the many Faith leaders the question or to even challenge their authority that they are "touching" God's anointed.
