In order to understand any given passage of scripture is to look at both previous and preceding verse. The best interpretation is the Bible itself (1 Cor. 2:13).  Also it is important that we understand the history, culture, and theological meanings of the biblical text of scripture. When it comes to checks and balances that many Faith televangelist are without accountability when it comes to what they teach and how they governs the church today. Many of the teachings that has been perpetuated by many Faith leaders claim that what they teach are "anointed" by God but they deny that of the absolute authority and inspiration of the Bible (2 Pet. 1:19-21).  Whenever the leadership of Faith televangelist "substitute" God's Word for what is revelatory that is outside the boundaries of scripture affect other areas of doctrine and theology.  A tree is known by the fruit it bears. Even though the control of human communication is very much evident among many Faith leaders as to what how many of their members are taught to avoid various books and literature is indication of control and security. Many Faith leaders will say and do what it takes to silence the mouths of its critics that challenge their teaching and authority. Many Faith leader will utilize such "scare" tactics by quoting Psalms 105:15 where it says, "Touch not mine anointed and do my prophets no harm." In order to know the character of God's Word is based upon what is revealed in scripture. There are numerous passages of scripture that witness that of the character of scripture (2 Pet. 1:19 with 2 Timothy 3:16). Even though there are many professing "Christian" teachers denies God's Word for what it truly is but nonetheless throughout the Bible affirms the character of God's Word. In order for God's Word to what it claim to be as to that of its divine character is to know the character of God (Rom. 3:23).  God is perfect within His own character by which God is the Author of scripture.  Since God is perfect in His moral character is that the character of God's Word is perfect. Never in the history of the church has there been such an frontal attack by many fringe groups that seek to infiltrate evangelical Christianity.  For example when it comes to the Word of Faith movement is that it appears to be "Christian" but many of its beliefs and practice are diametrically oppose to that of the clear teaching of scripture (2 Tim. 6:3-5).  Many proponents of the Word-Faith movement utilize at will the language of the Bible (e.g. "Faith") according to Romans 10:17 where it says, "Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word of Christ."
