It is very much important to know church history! There are some within the professing church today who believe that knowing the history of the church is not that important, but, to rely upon God's Word alone.  Those who believe that there is no need for the study of church history fail to understand that the Bible is a historical Book by which it records the history of the Bible, historical narratives and characters of the Bible.  It is also very much important to know Church history is light of its own history, that of the Bible, and those who made significant contributions to that of the Church today. How is it that the Social Justice Gospel movement utilized misleading language that appears to be biblical as it relates to the "gospel" of Jesus Christ? Just think on that for a moment! Someone may be saying, "These are strong accusation that you are accusing the social justice gospel movement of  "misleading" statements as it refer to the "gospel." During that of our afternoon service on the Lord's day we conclude the message, "Elect of God: Hearing God's Voice." The particular passage that we came from was based upon John 18:37 where it says, "Pilate therefore said to Him, "So You are a king?" Jesus answered, "You say correctly that I am a king. The Bible is not a "mere" book!  There are some people who treat the Bible as some type of literature just like for example Shakespeare.  When it comes to the Bible is that it is extraordinary when it come to that of the character and nature of scripture:  that of its complete reliability of the prophecy of scripture (2 Pet. 1:19a). First, before I begin to probe into the matter as to how contemporary evangelicalism have been influenced by mysticism and those who are proponents of such mystical theology is to give a clear cut definition of mysticism.
