The Hidden Things of God
Different things mean to different people! There are many professing Christians who throw along biblical words like throwing away toilet paper. It is so important to define such biblical concepts with the standard definition of the Bible (1 Cor. 2:13). The most basic of Bible interpretation is comparing scripture with scripture. When it comes to the biblical concept of the "secret things" of God or the hidden things of God is that there are numerous passages of scripture that will shed light upon its biblical meaning. The question is what is the biblical meaning of the word "secret things?" According to Proverbs 25:2, it says, "It is the glory of God to conceal a thing: but the honour of kings is to search out a matter." When it comes to the secret things of God is that the glory of our Lord is to conceal a thing (v. 2) The Sovereign Will of God is to conceal that which is not made accessible to ordinary men.
