The Joy of Knowing God's Word

"The bride belongs to the bridegroom. The friend who attends the bridegroom waits and listens for him, and is full of joy when he hears the bridegroom's voice. That joy is mine, and is now complete."    For the last several months I did a series of message on, "What Does It Mean to Hear God's Voice?" Under the subtitle I entitled it, "The Joy of Knowing God's Word" by which the passage under study is John 3:29 where it says, "The bride belongs to the bridegroom. The friend who attends the bridegroom waits and listens for him, and is full of joy when he hears the bridegroom's voice. That joy is mine, and is now complete." Before I begin to do a expositional study of John chapter 3 verse 29 there are a few things that needs to be address concerning those who have written books on, "Hearing God's Voice" and that is (1) Ignoring that of the plain meaning of scripture. (2) The distortion of biblical "words"

Real Men Don't Reason?

The eyes are the window of a man's soul! The system of the prosperity gospel must be viewed through the "windows" of the wealth and health gospels that are to be interpret. Anything that is outside the boundaries of the "system" of the prosperity gospel is to be rejected at all cost. It will consider such outside influence: that of what its victims read, see, and hear.  Dr. Robert Lifton most provocative but challenging book, "Thought Reform: The Psychology of Totalism" gives 8 psychological components of thought reform techniques by which the prosperity gospel serves as a model in the "indoctrination" process of how many of its victims are narrow in their vision. It is very much important to know that unless people look outside the closed compartmentalization of the prosperity gospel rigid system of beliefs (i.e. "Mind over matter) than by all means many of its victims will not see this heretical gospel for what it truly is: that of h

Why Is It So Important to Read Properly God's Word?

It is a necessity that we read properly God's Word!  In order to properly read the Bible is to take into account the whole of its biblical context: that of its wording, (syntax) that are written within its original language.  Even though the original language of the Bible are interpret within its original meaning but that the student of the Bible must seek to understand that of its language according to the standard definition.  Whenever the Church fail by ignoring that of the language of the Bible will miss the importance of its message (2 Tim. 2:15).    Let's take for example the classic text of John 10:4 where Jesus says, "When he has brought out his own, he goes on ahead of them, and his sheep follow him because they know his voice." The question?: Is it important that we look at the immediate passage at the exclusion of its surrounding context (John 10:1-3)? First, and foremost it is quite important that as the student of the Bible read that of the text under

Why Name Names?

Former Democratic Presidential contender Hillary Clinton once says, "We must call it by name and for what it truly is." There are people who are so agitated and irritated whenever they call their respected and revered leaders by calling them by name and for who they really are. They will do all they can to silence the mouths of its critics and to play the "narrative" game so as to turn the tables on their heads. But in actuality those who do not provide the basis of their claim to prove evidence that critics of these self-proclaimed leaders just by merely attacking them are the very ones who are guilty of crimes and treason.     In order to address false spiritual leaders in the Church today is to call it by name and for what it truly is.  People in the church today are wondering who are these individuals, what exactly do they are teaching that are so controversial, and am I apart of a church or ministry that are teaching false doctrine (2 Pet. 2:1, 2-3).    I
