A Summary: God's Elect: Recipient of Hearing God's Voice
During that of our afternoon service on the Lord's day we conclude the message, "Elect of God: Hearing God's Voice." The particular passage that we came from was based upon John 18:37 where it says, "Pilate therefore said to Him, "So You are a king?" Jesus answered, "You say correctly that I am a king. For this I have been born, and for this I have come into the world, to bear witness to the truth. Everyone who is of the truth hears My voice." (NARSB) This particular Bible passage has been greatly misunderstood by many within the Church today! The reason for this is that of God's people seeking to understand John chapter 18 verse 37 in light of its context that many of them ignore that of the plain meaning of scripture so as to compare scripture with scripture (1 Cor. 2:13, 14). Even to the point that it has been interpret by many contemporary evangelicals at the height of "spiritualizing" the Bible without taking into consid
